A diagnostic investigation campaign is underway to verify the conservation status of the Basilica of Oropa (BI).

The building is part of the monumental complex of Sacred Mount of Oropa, World Heritage Site of UNESCO.

The detachment of some internal elements made it necessary to carry out checks on the monument to orient the intervention priorities.

The complex and stratified nature of the Basilica required an in-depth preliminary study to analyze the constructive elements and their level of degradation.

Non-invasive investigation techniques, such as georadar analysis, have been used, which have allowed the use of micro-invasive surveys and laboratory testing tests.

Primat was commissioned to conduct investigations under the supervision of architect Emanuela Baietto and engineer Andrea Perratone.
